In Memory Of HilCo Founder, Tony Hill With 15 years experience in the HVAC industry, Tony Hill decided to dive into HVAC contracting and founded HilCo Mechanical Corporation in March 1989. With Tony leading the way, HilCo went from a one-man service company to a team of 15 coworkers, 9 services vehicles, and thousands of happy customers resulting in numerous service awards. In 2000, Tony was diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), more commonly known as Lou Gehrig’s disease. Each year, approximately 6000 people in the U.S. are diagnosed with ALS, which is a 100% fatal progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and the spinal cord. While fighting this devastating disease, Tony’s optimism and dedication to his HilCo team and customers remained strong. Sadly, Tony lost his courageous nine-year battle with ALS in August 2009. We miss him and will always remember him as the family man, honest businessman and loyal friend that he was. His commitment to the service we provide to our customers will never waiver. We were referred to Hilco Mechanical Air Conditioning & Heating for our A/C solution, we worked directly with Logan Mc Queen (Logan) and he was an absolute professional every step of the way! On top of already dealing with our A/C issues, I experienced a medical situation and had to leave my home in the middle of them working on everything.
