Cantrell’s Heat & Air Inc. was started in 1992 by Jim Cantrell and his son Randy Cantrell. Jim Cantrell had worked for a local distributor and knew the HVAC business very well and built a reputation on being very meticulous about his work and building relationships with his customers. Jim and his son Randy decided to start their own business. We are very proud to be a locally owned and operated business. Randy has taken over since our father passed away in 2004 to make sure that Cantrell’s continues to provide the same quality of work and customer satisfaction that our father prided himself in.Randy is very involved with all area’s of the business sales, repairs and installations. Randy’s main goal of Cantrell’s Heat & Air is to treat his customers fairly and honestly and provide the best service in Knoxville.

On December 11, 1989, after nearly 70 years, the operating assets of the White Stores, Inc. were sold to K-VA-T Food Stores which now operates the stores as Food City. The real estate holdings and service department was not part of the sale, and a new organization was formed—White Realty and Service Corporation. For the past 25 years, CCSE (Certified Commercial Service & Equipment) has operated as a valuable division of White Realty and Service Corporation. With offices and warehouses strategically located in Knoxville, Nashville, Louisville and Atlanta, we are capable of distributing our lines of equipment over a large geographical area with great efficiencies. Our capabilities also include installations and service after the sale. CCSE is also a Mechanical Contractor licensed in Tennessee, Mississippi, Alabama, South Carolina, North Carolina and Virginia. Our expertise is in supermarket refrigeration installations. Customers include Wal-Mart, Sam’s Club, COSTCO, Target, Food City, Kroger, Food Lion and Earth Fare. We also work closely with Georg Fischer Piping Systems in installing cooling pipe in breweries across the Southeast.
