In regards to the recent installation of the new furnace and air conditioning unit that Hallmark installed in our home. We wanted to say thank you. Not only are we thanking you for making our home cool and comfortable in the summer, but we know it will be warm and comfortable in the cold Upstate winters to which we are accustomed. I observed your workmanship from start to finish, and I was nothing short of completely impressed. Both you and Tom took the time to answer my questions as well as be completely professional every step of the way. What could of been a very long, trying experience for me, turned out to be a wonderful adventure. When Sheldon arrived home and was looking things over, he also was more then satisfied. We both work with "customers" and we understand how demanding it can be. We also know how hard it is to find people who do good work, are pleasant to work with and get the job done right. You and Tom are to be commended for covering all aspects of the job, from start to finish as well as everything in between. I promise you we will be spreading your name as far and wide as we can. Thank you both for everything and reminding us there are good people, and people who do outstanding work still around.

Several years ago when I needed furnace cleaning and servicing and didn't know who to turn to I was a single mom at the time and I used someone out of the yellow pages that "looked" like they had a reliable history. They cleaned my furnace and then led me to believe I needed a new furnace if not right away within a year or two. He tried to sell me a $10,000 heating unit, I couldn't afford it so he cleaned it and left me with fears that it could harm my family. After a few years (during that time I was afraid of having it cleaned or serviced) I read an article in the Rochester D&C about preparing your furnace for winter. The article stressed the importance of checking and cleaning your furnace. The article portrayed a gentleman from Hallmark Heating & Cooling. He had a recommendation from RG&E as a local reliable service provider. I was scared due to my previous experience but knew I needed to have my furnace cleaned and looked at. I called them and requested their service. I was very impressed with his prompt return of phone calls, low prices, and HONEST, Reliable, quality of service. He told me my furnace was fine and it still had a few good years left on

A couple of months back, my furnace broke down (during a cold snap). Huether came quickly and diagnosed the problem (other than it being a 38 year old furnace) and offered to install a replacement furnace. Price quoted with a handshake, I quickly got two other pricing quotes from competing firms. I would have gone with Huether even if it was at or near the pricing of the other guys, but Huether’s quote was about 25% below the comps (and even for the exact same furnace model!!)

9/8/23 – I just wanted to let you know what a wonderful, conscientious person Brian is. While checking the dryer vent, he found a tea & replaced that piece of the vent. It turned out to be a much bigger job than he anticipated, at other sections fell apart when he re-checked them, Had he not been so conscientious, I think I’d have had a serious problem down the road. I am so grateful to Brian, and to Huether in general. Since your dad (John Sr) started servicing our first house over 30 yrs ago, we have been totally happy with your company.
