We just got our downstairs HVAC replaced with new Trane units. Installation was on-time, professional, and high-quality. The price was around what I expected to pay, even a bit less. We've tried some of the other "big name" HVAC companies in the area; their high-starred reviews are undeserved. I'm weary of all service companies, but Colt's Cooling is one of the rare finds. They are now our "go-to" for all HVAC needs moving forward.

A big, well-known Winston-Salem HVAC company told me I needed either a new AC system or a $2,200 part. Colt's came out the very same day and replaced an $84 part and my system has been humming ever since. They've got themselves a customer for life in me!

Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. My heat pump had an issue, and they came out and worked on it in the snow just to make sure I had heat! Simply put, Colt's Cooling charged me $89.95 for the labor to install a Defrost Board. Blaze Air tried to charge me $522 for the same labor. I canceled my service contract with Blaze and will now be using Colt's.

I don't normally post reviews on Google but these guys have been fantastic. Talking with Don while my hot water tank was out, it was quick, simple, personable, and he explained the issue thoroughly. Don's motto of "fix it first" really was refreshing to hear. No upsale of their services or parts. He told me the part I needed to order OEM, and said he'd come back to install it and that it would take about an hour. Transparency through and through - highly recommend Cook's.
