A couple of months back, my furnace broke down (during a cold snap). Huether came quickly and diagnosed the problem (other than it being a 38 year old furnace) and offered to install a replacement furnace. Price quoted with a handshake, I quickly got two other pricing quotes from competing firms. I would have gone with Huether even if it was at or near the pricing of the other guys, but Huether’s quote was about 25% below the comps (and even for the exact same furnace model!!)

9/8/23 – I just wanted to let you know what a wonderful, conscientious person Brian is. While checking the dryer vent, he found a tea & replaced that piece of the vent. It turned out to be a much bigger job than he anticipated, at other sections fell apart when he re-checked them, Had he not been so conscientious, I think I’d have had a serious problem down the road. I am so grateful to Brian, and to Huether in general. Since your dad (John Sr) started servicing our first house over 30 yrs ago, we have been totally happy with your company.

In regards to the recent installation of the new furnace and air conditioning unit that Hallmark installed in our home. We wanted to say thank you. Not only are we thanking you for making our home cool and comfortable in the summer, but we know it will be warm and comfortable in the cold Upstate winters to which we are accustomed. I observed your workmanship from start to finish, and I was nothing short of completely impressed. Both you and Tom took the time to answer my questions as well as be completely professional every step of the way. What could of been a very long, trying experience for me, turned out to be a wonderful adventure. When Sheldon arrived home and was looking things over, he also was more then satisfied. Several years ago when I needed furnace cleaning and servicing and didn't know who to turn to I was a single mom at the time and I used someone out of the yellow pages that "looked" like they had a reliable history. They cleaned my furnace and then led me to believe I needed a new furnace if not right away within a year or two. He tried to sell me a $10,000 heating unit, I couldn't afford it so he cleaned it and left me with fears that it could harm my family. After a few years (during that time I was afraid of having it cleaned or serviced) I read an article in the Rochester D&C about preparing your furnace for winter. The article stressed the importance of checking and cleaning your furnace. The article portrayed a gentleman from Hallmark Heating & Cooling. He had a recommendation from RG&E as a local reliable service provider. I was scared due to my previous experience but knew I needed to have my furnace cleaned and looked at. I called them and requested their service. I was very impressed with his prompt return of phone calls, low prices, and HONEST, Reliable, quality of service. He told me my furnace was fine and it still had a few good years left on

Welter Heating did a great job installing my new forced air furnace and central air conditioning! This was a retrofit for a house with a gravity furnace so needed lots of duct work and electrical etc…

Air-it installed a garage heater mid-winter at our new home. They were very price competitive and performed good work. Before the bid, they took the time to discuss exactly what we wanted, and what was needed to provide the best outcome. They provided timely updates on when they could perform the work, right down to expected arrival time. They came prepared and accomplished the installation in a very cold garage and colder outside environment in what seemed to us a short window of time. After the installation, there was a good walkdown and tutorial on operation of the new unit. The clean up was great, with nothing left for us to tidy up.

I called Air-it for an estimate to replace my aging furnace. I needed a quick response as the existing furnace was having issues. Jason got back to me quickly and was out to look over the situation. This was not going to be a straightforward replacement due to very limited space and existing access issues. I received other bids and Jason was the only one who presented me with a creative solution that left me with a fully accessible furnace. Super responsive! Our furnace was leaking, called that morning and they were out at 3pm. Needed to order a part and was back the next day and final repair completed within 24 hours. The entire process is how it should happen but sadly with others we have used does not!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
