Mike came within an hour of my call...I called them after a previous HVAC company had canceled my appointment after the window they were supposed to show up had passed. Mike came within an hour of my call and fixed my issue. Great service and I learned some things!

We submitted a service request late saturday night when our a/c went out. I received a call first thing monday morning at 7:30a. Josh came out 30 minutes later and diagnosed our issue. A part was replaced and he had our a/c working again by 8:45a! We loved the promptness, honesty, and the customer service provided by Josh and Mechollage. Legit saved our Independence Day Wknd - a/c went out on the 3rd mid day, and the house was 87 inside by the time we got home. Called around 5pm and Darryl was at the house a few hours later. My furnace stopped running properly at 11pm on a night when the temperature was going down below zero and expected to go several degrees lower. I called Bower as they had put my furnace in. A young man named Chris came within a 1/2 hour, quickly diagnosed the problem, replaced the part and was done within 15 minutes. The one thing that was MOST notable, he was so very, very sick with a cold but he did not complain. He was courteous and polite.

I recently went through a nightmare situation with my home warranty (HMS) company and there local HVAC company. I have not had working AC for 2 months and the local HVAC company had decided the only answer was to replace the whole system and the warranty company would only cover a portion of the expense. I reached out to Atlantic Heating and Cooling for a second opinion (out of my pocket because HMS would not do a second opinion). Not only did they not take advantage of the situation. They resolved my issue with a simple service call. Noted that I have a unique system that requires a special tech and would follow up with a contact that could assist me in the future if I had issues. The other company had 4 different techs come out with no resolution insight. Thank you for your integrity and highly skilled staff.

I could not have asked for better service. Brad and his team were amazing. They were there on one of the hottest and humid days and yet they were as pleasant as could be. Our furnace wouldn’t fire on cold days. The landlord hired these guys, and they were able to identify a pressure switch signal that wasn’t passing through the controller board. The board had no obvious damage, but with a cable bundle attached that had some heft to it–I think the vibration and shaking of the house from street construction AUG-SEP busted one of the traces inside the board. They had it replaced and firing very quickly. The technician drove about a half-hour out to get the replacement part. While I don’t know how they handled cost, the service was second to none. Watching the technician’s work, it was clear that he had the electromechanical underpinnings of many of these units committed to memory–knowing exactly where to test and which voltage or signal to look for.

Emergency and routine, Virginia Air Heating & Cooling is the best! My Saturday morning, no heat experience turned into a trusted relationship with a non-nonsense company. If you leave a message, it will be returned quickly and competently. Margaret serves customers by phone and orchestrates the movements of a top-notch team. I interacted with Chris the most and have the greatest confidence that the furnace I needed and the work he did will be of value for decades. I've also relied on Virginia Air Heating & Cooling for a routine call because of a problem with our heat pump. Again, the technician was professional, courteous and corrected the problem very promptly. I've never waited more than an hour to have a team member at my home - that's service! No HVAC service is inexpensive, but I'm certain the prices I've paid for the services I've received were very reasonable. I also appreciate that Margaret uses her vast experience to assess the problem and try to assist with simple remedies. On a more complex problem, I've also had Chris assist me with a heating issue telephonically. I'm sold - there's no reason to need another HVAC company and I offer my strongest endorsement.
