The Alaska Mechanical Contractors Association (AMCA) is a trade association representing mechanical contractors primarily operating in South Central Alaska, but also serving other areas of the state. Established in 1969, the AMCA was founded to promote the mechanical contracting industry in Alaska. Membership is open to any plumbing and/or sheet metal contractor who is signatory to either or both of the unions (local or national agreements). Annual dues are $500.00, and Anchorage association members automatically become members of the State association. The AMCA also offers membership in national organizations such as SMACNA or MCAA.
